Director
Giles Heather
MA (Oxon) BSc (Hons) DipArch ARB
As co-founder of Goldstein Heather, Giles leads the studio’s design direction, bringing an imaginative and intellectually grounded approach to every project. His approach to design arises from a broad engagement with architectural history, style and proportion, which informs the contemporary architectural ethos of the studio.
Giles plays a central role in the design development of each project, from concept through to delivery, with particular expertise in the adaptation of heritage-sensitive existing buildings. His creativity is driven by a passion for architectural language, form and details, often explored through exploratory hand sketches.
Before establishing Goldstein Heather in 2019, Giles was an Associate Director at Squire and Partners, having previously worked at The Manser Practice, where he delivered an award-winning private house on the Isle of Wight. He studied Architecture at the Bartlett following an undergraduate degree in Modern History at the University of Oxford, and later completed his Diploma at the University of Westminster.
Giles is a member of the Hounslow Design Review Panel.
