Director
Simon Goldstein
BA (Hons) DipArch ARB
As co-founder of Goldstein Heather, Simon leads the studio alongside Giles Heather, driving both design as well as strategic direction and day-to-day operation. He is closely involved in shaping the concept and planning strategy of each project, integrating commercial considerations with an intuitive sense of spatial organisation and form. His ability to navigate complex planning processes and to mark out a path to successful outcomes have been central to the growth and reputation of the studio.
Simon’s role spans design leadership, client strategy and business management, ensuring the studio maintains its focus on quality, rigour and delivery across all scales of work.
Prior to establishing Goldstein Heather in 2019, Simon spent twelve years at Squire and Partners, where he became Associate Director and led high-profile mixed-use and residential projects. Earlier in his career, he worked at Foster + Partners on the refurbishment of HM Treasury, a Grade II* listed landmark on Whitehall. He was educated at the University of Westminster and Oxford Brookes.
